About the Practice
Ann Limric has worked in the Healing Arts since 1991. It is her goal to help people
feel better in their bodies, minds and energetic states.
Ann's earliest training at St. Mary's Junior College in 1987-88 focused on Health & Wellness Counseling. Those studies led her to the path of massage at Touch of Life School of Massage in 1989-90. Through this experience, she was introduced to shiatsu, which for Ann became a life-altering experience as it brought her to study shiatsu at the Minnesota Center for Shiatsu Study (now CenterPoint) in 1992-94.
Ann's interest in energy and space led her to study feng shui through a two-year program of the Wind and Water School of Feng Shui. In 2008 she became a Certified Feng Shui Consultant.
Ann views her work using a holistic eye. She has a decade plus years in the practice of hatha and Iyengar yoga. She is a student of Feldenkrais and Zen. Ann has experienced many different forms of healing. Some examples are massage therapy, shiatsu, zen, chiropractics, Feldenkrais work, healing touch, Thai massage, lomi lomi, cranial sacral work, myofascial release, psychology, EMDR, 12-step programs, reiki, Native American sweats, ortho bionomy, creative visualization, the Four Agreements, the Enneagram, a Course in Miracles, feng shui, acupuncture, nutritional study with whole foods, and essential oils. She was drawn to do the work of massage and shiatsu. She provides Restorative Massage using a combination of techniques from deep tissue, swedish, trigger point, shiatsu, relaxation, quiet heart listening and a bit of wisdom from everything she has experienced. She offers injury related work. Ann provides traditional Shiatsu-Anma Therapy. She has trained formally as well as from many a "barefoot doctor". Ann has been intrigued with the study of this amazing entity called the "holistic body" for the last 28 years.
